AMERC Inc. is dedicated to work with Federal and State government agencies, public sector clients and nonprofit organizations on various projects from implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/COTS product suites (ORACLE/PeopleSoft), to providing enterprise-wide Information Technology(IT) services, training and post-implementation support. We also provide PMO, Administrative Management, General Management and Educational consulting services.

Our Past Performance:

The US Army GoArmyEd Contract:

AMERC Inc. is proud to have partnered with the sub-contracting company in supporting its’ partner & prime vendor IBM on the prestigious multi million dollar GoArmyEd (GAE) program of The US Army. GAE is one of the largest, dynamic and robust virtual educational programs in the world managed by the Army Continuing Education System(ACES). GAE is designed to support continuing education of US Army soldiers (Active duty, Army Reserves & National Guard), National Cadets and Army Civilians, by providing an online portal for enrollment and requesting  tuition reimbursement, for thousands of courses offered at  the various colleges. There are 8000 plus active programs, 2500 plus participating colleges and 500000 plus students and that are actively processed by the system.

The GAE program has many moving parts that include, several interfaces and third party systems that are seamlessly integrated into one whole system. PeopleSoft Student Administration is used to process and maintain the student enrollments and recoupments in several thousands of classes offered by the participating colleges. PeopleSoft(PS) is also used to provide financial management capabilities for tuition reimbursement and invoice management. The PS financials management system interfaces with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service(DFAS) system, Access On-Line(AXOL) system and banks for financial disbursements.

AMERC Inc. provided exceptional management, technical(PeopleSoft) and leadership support to the sub-contractor, in managing the PS team and deliverables. Apart from leading the PS team throughout the SDLC phases of the various new initiatives/releases going on in parallel within the GAE program, AMERC Inc. also led the PS team in providing day-to-day operations & maintenance and production support activities. AMERC Inc. collaborated with the sub contractor’s leadership team and supported project management activities such as, planning, risk analysis & mitigation, budget, change management and quality assurance support for the PeopleSoft system. AMERC Inc. contractor’s excellent stakeholder management abilities helped in maintaining seamless integration between the PS team and several other multi-disciplinary teams involved in the program. This resulted in successful releases, team harmony, customer satisfaction and appreciation despite aggressive timelines and budget.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) HR LOB Contract: 

The department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM) had implemented their Human Resources Line Of Business (HR LOB) in 2011 to develop an enterprise-wise Human Resource system – HR-Smart. The HR-Smart system went into fully functional and operational status in 2016. In-order to continuously stabilize their HR-Smart system and further enhance its functionalities & capabilities, OHRM sought support from their prime vendor Aptive Resources to stand-up an Enterprise Human Resources Systems Portfolio (EHRSP) framework. The EHRSP framework comprised of several initiatives and systems implementation projects that supported VA’s objectives. Under the HR LOB contract the Prime vendor Aptive Resources was responsible to provide Program and Organizational Management, Project Management, Organizational Communications and Change Management, Operations and Maintenance, Helpdesk Support and Strategic Leadership and Advisory support.

AMERC INC. supported the prime vendor Aptive Resources along with their other sub-contractor(s), in managing the VA’s HR LOB HR-Smart system and contract deliverables. AMERC INC.s’ contractor was chosen to lead the program in a key role and was presented as a Sr. Program Manager in the proposal, that contributed towards the prime vendor winning the contract. AMERC INC.s’ contractor led the HR LOB PMO team and worked hand-in-hand with the prime vendor to support the HR-Smart program. The services provided by AMERC INC. under this contract included leading the initiatives such as; setting up a Portfolio Management Framework, staffing resources, team building and developing artifacts like CPMP plan, and others as part of the project deliverables.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) PeopleSoft ECHM 9.2 implementation Contract:

HHS has an existing Human Resources(HR) system which utilizes PeopleSoft (PS) 8.9 HR solutions to support day-to-day HR activities. The existing Enterprise Human Resources and Payroll (EHRP) PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 system, is complex and has numerous interfaces to various third party and non-interoperable systems. Because of the nature of non-interoperable systems integrated with the EHRP system, 100 plus interfaces are required to feed data in and out of these systems. In order to reduce the systems complexity, user-friendliness and operations & maintenance cost-effectiveness, HHS is implementing PS EHCM 9.2 system to leverage the new functionalities and capabilities available in the PS HCM 9.2 version. The objective of this contract is to develop an interoperable system, by implementing the core Human Capital Management (HCM), Time & Attendance (T&A) and other Portal Components of PS EHCM 9.2 with a goal to streamline the day-to-day operations and between the numerous sub systems.

HHS’s PS ECHM 9.2 contract is a large and advanced program that has several multi-disciplinary teams, vendors and sub-contracting companies working together with CSRA, which is leading the initiative. AMERC INC. is proud to have worked hand-in-hand with CSRA and joined them at a very crucial time of the program, in a key role, to lend support to their Program Management Team. AMERC INC.s’ contractor used her natural leadership abilities, organizational and client management skills to plan strategies and implement them accurately and quickly to contribute towards the program’s recent success.

AMERC INC.s’ contractor took lead in developing a couple of highly visible Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) Stage Gate artifacts that contributed immensely towards the recent success of progressing the program into the successive phase. The artifacts produced by AMERC Inc.s’ contractor were highly visible to the HHS executive team and earned their praise and appreciation for the quality and metrics provided. Apart from supporting in EPLC Stage Gate related work, AMERC Inc. also worked with team CSRA to plan schedule, risk analysis & mitigation, business process modeling and reengineering, requirements gathering and quality assurance planning. AMERC INC.s’ contractor exhibited high professionalism, leadership, comradeship and mentorship to seamlessly integrate within the large multi-team program.
