Rehana Banu G. – President/Founder
Rehana Banu G. started her career working as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP-PeopleSoft) consultant for various financial and Wall Street firms like Goldman Sachs, Lazard Freres, Emblem Health and others in the New York City, NY for about 7 years. Upon getting an offer at the prestigious company, The Carlyle Group, located in Washington, DC, to manage their IT financial services ERP product suite, she moved into the DC metropolitan area. Ms. Rehana brings along 16 plus years of valuable experience in the information technology and management consulting services discipline, holding various senior level techno-functional and management positions nationally as well as internationally. Ms. Rehana founded AMERC Inc. to primarily serve federal and state government clients.
Ms. Rehana holds a Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC), IL, USA and a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the prestigious Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) located in Hyderabad, India. Ms. Rehana is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the prestigious Project Management Institute (PMI).
Ms. Rehana’s entrepreneurial vision coupled with her winner’s attitude, is positioned to lead AMERC INC. and its clients towards greater accomplishments and growth. She has a proven history of success since her early years. Ms. Rehana won numerous awards during her school and college education. She worked as an engineering intern on a R&D team that designed an Air Traffic Controller (ATC) circuit system at the Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL); the design was later used at the ATC center of the city’s international airport. Ms. Rehana exhibited excellence by twice winning first and third places for her design exhibits in the yearly district STEM fair. Her extracurricular awards, among others, include winning the final (jackpot) round of a very popular national TV speculation game show (similar to The Price is Right) in India.
Through Ms. Rehana’s leadership, AMERC INC. is inclined to develop into a leading provider of technical solutions and management services company and a brand with which all its employees and customers are proud to be associated with.
